Web page getting better!
Today I did not make it down to the studio. I spent a great deal of time learning how to make PayPal cart buttons to add to my page. So far they look like they work on desktops having trouble on mobile devices will have to look into.
Worked on my web-site a little more, be sure to check it out www.brigids-fire.com. Still very empty but I will get there. After work tomorrow I will make some time to go down to the studio.

Sea glass necklace in pink!
Seaglass and swarovski Crystal elements with sterling silver. Spirals are hammered. Ordered sterling silver chain for the necklaces. Awaiting new photo lightbox and equipment for better display and photos. Off to review Etsy and the Internet to see if I can learn about shopping carts. Trying to figure out the best way to sell my jewelry on line.

Sterling Silver spiral with sea glass and Swarovski elements
So much fun creating these! I love sea glass and spirals. The first time I worked with sea glass as noted earlier in the blog, I worked them in craft wire and a much thinner gauge wire. Tonight I utilized a 20G wire that was fun to work with. I found the wire went where I wanted it and then stayed!
I used a hammering technique to give the spiral a nice look. Half of the necklaces made tonight have a Swarovski element, the other half have a second spiral. Still struggling with how to build a fair price that covers my expenses and does not make one have to be a millionaire to purchase a hand crafted Brigid's Fire peice of Jewelry.

Heart necklaces
Finished 4 new necklaces! Ordered the cord. Was happy to have some successful time in the studio. Sterling Silver with Swarovski crystal element. Cord will be black with sterling silver clasp. I will post picture once they arrive. I worked way too long on the new website with very little to show for it. I will really need to take some high definition pictures of the jewelry and get them up! I see why people pay others to build their web page. Check it out but keep in mind it is in the very early stages and I find it much more enjoyable to create wearable art: http://www.brigids-fire.com
